I'm on my way...Manslaughter for the Doc!

Ok, so I checked my last and final grades early this morning and I got an 'A' in my internship class (side eye) and a 'C' in my advanced portfolio class. Yay! Oh, the reason I gave a "side eye" for my internship class is because I pretty much faked my whole 'interning' process throughout the entire 5 weeks...trust, I'm always finding a way. And it paid off, so I can't complain. So now I'll be graduating with a 3.0; that'll most definitely work for me! Oh, did I mention that I am soooo damn happy to be outta school..for good? Well, all I gotta say is "Thank ya, Jesus!"

On another note, it's all over the news on how they just convicted Conrad Murray, the doctor that was responsible for killing the one and only, Michael Jackson. Yes y'all, he is GUILTY for manslaughter! I'm so glad that this has finally come to light...and justice has definitely been served but of course, we can never get the "King of Pop" back but his music forever lives on. The funny thing about this situation now that he has been found guilty is that he will only be serving a total of 4 years for his entire sentence. And I'm like "What!" That's it!?" We're talking about Michael Jackson..MJ..The King of Pop...Hands down, the greatest entertainer that ever lived! (I'm still sad that he's gone :( I thought the dude would at least get 20 years or something, that's crazy. Well, at least he was found guilty for commiting such a crime. Sometimes we just have to roll with what has been given and be thankful. But all I gotta say is..."Lawd, im soooo glad that isn't me!"

I'm a 2nd Time College Graduate!!

Ok, so today is the 1st official day of me being out of school...and I'm just soooooo excited!! I completed all of my last bit of college work last night as I had a 12 midnight deadline and NOW I have nothing but free time and it feels so good. So yesterday was a pretty good day, my best friend had a "Mary Kay" party in which her sister-in-law flew in from Miami to host the party. At first, the "party" was a drag, I mean none of the girls had shown up and we were just kinda sittin around waiting. Then, a few people showed and that's when things started to pick up. I mean the layout was pretty nice. She had the Mary Kay products laid out nicely on the table and their were a few refreshments, so I knew I was in the place to be. LOL. The entire party went smoothly, she explained the whole Mary Kay business and how it operated, the many products and the prizes you can when if you sell a certain amount of products. I think that's all cool but it's just not for me...I dont have the patience to be a sells person and I am not as aggressive as many; but I support my friend! (You go, girrrlll)! I had my first glass (or two, LOL) of Moscato at the party and it is pretty damn good (got a lil buzzed) and of course the snacks were on point! We took it back for a minute when we started watching ol school music videos on Youtube (just reminiscing) and we had a good ol time. Got to the house and thought everything would run smooth as I try to submit my work but one problem came after another. After an hour or so, I figured everything out and I was straight. So, no more school...I'm a free woman...life doesn't get any better!!! Just waiting on my degree to come in the mail....Bachelors in Fine Arts, Baybay!!!!!
